Compressed hydrogen is used for a variety of applications including alternative fuels, chemical manufacturing, industrial applications, hydrogenation of oils and research and development applications. The majority of these applications require clean, high pressure gas. In response to these applications we have developed the techniques to safely, cleanly and reliably compress this difficult gas. Our experience includes manufacturing standard compressors for discharge pressures between 1,000 and 20,000 psig (7 to 140 MPa) along with higher pressure units.

HYDROGEN COMPRESSION

  • Standard operating ranges for this line are:
  • Discharge pressures: 1,000 to 12,000 psig
  • Inlet pressure range: 70 to 6,000 psig
  • Capacity ranges: <1 scfm to >300 scfm
  • This is the most popular unit for fueling station applications.
  • Standard operating ranges for this line are:
  • Discharge pressures: 10,000 to 60,000 psig
  • Inlet pressure range: 500 to 3,000 psig
  • Capacity ranges:<1 scfm to 10 scfm
  • Gas transfer from tank trucks
  • This unit is ideal for small scale production and test applications
  • Standard operating ranges for this line are:
  • Discharge pressures: 10,000 to 60,000 psig
  • Inlet pressure range: 500 to 3,000 psig
  • Capacity ranges: 5 scfm to >300 scfm
  • This unit is ideal for high pressure, large capacity applications.
